Leicester was a tough game because 'they are fighting for their lives', QPR was a tough game 'because they are fighting for their lives', 'we're not really expected to be matching' the top teams so it's okay when we lose to them.
So who do you want to play Sam? We'll see if we can make it happen for you. How about a team in the same position as us and we'll play them at ours which should be a nice advantage? How about Stoke? Oh no, silly me. We tried to defend a 1-0 lead for 85 minutes against them while they played us off the park, didn't they?

I've just read that article, Willtell, and I couldn't make much sense of any of it. Can't see him playing Burke on Saturday if Reid is fit, as the Burnley match is his best bet of three points towards his magic number of 50 points. He never explained why only one sub was used on Saturday. All he seems to be saying is the clean sheet was a marvellous achievement against one of the two worst teams in the PL,conveniently forgetting Rangers' penalty miss,their disallowed goal which most refs would have allowed, and Adrian's excellent display.

I agree. I've just read his Manager on Monday column on the official site and the cheeky bastard is taking credit for Reece Burke and going on about he could only do that now we are safe!!! And he's playing out of contract players for some weird reason. An excuse for failure perhaps?

Really? An 18 year old professional footballer can't play 90 minutes? I'll bet by Sunday he was walking fine and felt about 10ft tall. By Monday he'd be ready for another 90 minutes you stupid prick Sam...

Every post match interview is twisted to direct criticism away from him. Never his fault. His latest desperate stunt is to remind everyone West Ham were bottom of the league four years ago,as if that had anything to do with our piss poor performance against QPR, a team about to be relegated in a matter of weeks.

Board are in difficult position. Have probably been waiting to see if we can get out of this poor run to see where we end up. It looks now like we won't get out of it and the season will fizzle out but it's too late to sack the guy. May aswell let the contract run out natrually and say 'thank you very much' and go seperate ways.

I genuinely fear for the club if they let him loose on it again - he knows we hate his guts, and his recent behaviours are his response to that, rather than any attempt to put things right and build bridges.
That's a very dangerous scenario to go forwards with in my view.
